Shakeyla Ingram

North Carolina State Coordinator

Shakeyla M. Ingram is the North Carolina State Coordinator for Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project. Shakeyla is originally from Fayetteville, NC, and a proud alumna of Fayetteville State University, has long been passionate about voter advocacy. Her journey began in high school when, too young to vote herself, she nonetheless mobilized her eligible peers to get involved in local and state campaigns and led voter registration efforts. After high school, Shakeyla’s commitment to fostering civic engagement continued as she began working with college students. Her notable contribution in this area was sparked when Rock the Vote enlisted her to support voting and civic engagement among HBCU college students.
