Melanie Billescas is a Virginia resident and a student at the University of Mary Washington. As an undergrad, she served as an executive leader of UMW Votes, a club dedicated to fostering and supporting civic engagement among students. Melanie began as a volunteer before gaining experience through internships with Campus Vote Project. In recognition for her efforts to promote student voting on campus, she was named to the 2025 ALL IN Student Voting Honor Roll. She has four years of experience in the voting rights space and is certified by the Virginia Department of Elections to register voters.
