Rachel graduated from Appalachian State University with a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in women’s studies. While at Appalachian State, Rachel worked for two years as an organizer for Ignite NC. While working for Ignite NC she organized students and faculty around voting rights, anti-voter suppression work, and higher education reform. Rachel is excited to be working with North Carolina’s campus community members and is looking forward to building student power and empowering young people to get involved in shaping policy decisions that affect their lives.
