TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – As election day is approaching, the youth vote is one that candidates hope to tap into. Under New York State law, college students who meet all other eligibility requirements can vote at their college or home address, but must register in the place they intend to vote. While college students are able to vote in the municipalities where they are going to school, many do not. “I don’t know enough about the candidates here,” said Marist University student Kaden Krzeminski.
