Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project (CVP) was launched in 2012 to expand our work on student voting issues. We work with universities, community colleges, faculty, students, an delection officials to reduce barriers to student voting. CVP helps campuses institutionalizere forms that empower students with the information they need to register and vote.
Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project seeks a Michigan State Coordinator to join ourorganization’s work to institutionalize civic learning and democratic engagement programs for campus communities and empower students to participate in our democracy. The Michigan State Coordinator is a key member of our team. They are charged with developing and managing relationships with campus administrators and faculty to carry out our goals. They also supervise “Democracy Fellows,” stipend student positions committed to planning and running democratic engagement programs on their campuses. Democracy Fellows coordinate with administration and faculty, helping organize student voter registration, voter education, and voter turnout activities. The Michigan State Coordinator will report directly to a CVP Regional Manager.
This is a full-time remote position, with a salary range of $58,000 – $67,000, depending on experience. Fair Elections Center offers generous employer paid health, vision, and dental insurance, 3 weeks vacation, and a 403(B) retirement plan with employer contribution.
